Default ap2 tranny problems

well ive been having some problems with my 1st and 2nd gears, i think the syncs are bad but im not sure, it all started when i would floor it in first and try to stick into second it would sometimes not go in and grind. this went on for about a year, then today when i floored it in first and tried to shift into second it grinded and acted like i was locked out of first and second. i pulled over to a side street to force the shift into first ( hard as a mofo). it just wouldnt go in, tried second and it went in but i had to pull hard, all other gears are fine and act normal. i think this has happend to me before but only lasted for 5 min of driving then it corrected its self i guess, any who.. i drove it for about 10 min tring to force first in. i finally got it to go in but with alot of switching in and out of second and pushing really hard into first... its not as bad now since ive done that for about 15 min, but its still really hard to put it in either.

any info would be GREATLY appreciated!

sounds like you might have messed up ur trans...try to change the tranny fluid first and see? are you depressing the clutch in far enough when you shift? maybe it's too late now but that could be the reason why the gears would grind when you were shifting..

hope you work out the problem

I believe in your part of the world they used the f20c's up until 2006, so yes it's a ap2 chassis w/ a f20c motor.

??? I can literally flick my wrist and throw it in gear. You don't need to throw your whole body into shifting fast
