I ended up getting the AP2 knuckles, but never got around to doing the conversion. Went I went through the parts list between AP1/2 I noticed the only difference in parts is the subframe, knuckle and upper arms. All existing parts can be reused.

I really don't think the lower knuckles need to be changed. I've driven thousands of miles with no problems.

Yeah, I'm not sure of the actual differences, but it was apparently enough to warrant a change.
