AP2 - rpm not dropping as fast as AP1 on upshift?

Actually, this doesn't have anything to do with the CDV. You're accelerating from a light and need to shift, so you let off the gas and push the clutch in. That is when this hanging revs thing happens, before you ever re-engage the clutch (which is when the CDV does its thing.)

from my understanding the CDV affects both engagment and disengagment of the clutch. Try this, rev ur car up in neutral and see if it has the same problem. If it doesnt then you know its your CDV

The answer for this topic is simple: AP2s don't do anything as fast as AP1s.
