AP2 motor + AP1 Tranny?
#31
Ok ok ok... Im getting mixed answer from PM and whats being posted here. I have an AP1 and trying to swap to the F22 motor... Is the AP2 cluster PnP? and also Im swapping in a AP2 ECU. Not using the EMS off the bat. Will the 05 ECU Plug in with out any NEW wiring harness into the AP1 harness? Does any one know first hand? Or maybe they can compile a list for EVERYTHING one would with a stock AP1 would need for the F22 swap. I feel as tho its been answered but I have others who are selling the parts I need that It wont plug up

The ECU will plug in without any modification to the original wiring harness.
I'm not sure about the dash though...I'm also not 100% sure but you should be able to use your AP1 dash with the AP2 ECU. I know its been done before.
If I were you, I'd use the search function and PM the guys that have done it to get detailed answers.

How is everyone dealing with the different size bolts that hold the driveshaft to the companion flange of the AP1 transmission. The AP1 uses 6 M8 bolts and the AP2 uses 6 M10 bolts. Are you guys just using the smaller bolt to clamp the flanges together? Seems like a lot of slop to me.
