Sorry guys, I know this is beat to death but the search turned up no useful threads. I am thinking of getting new AP2 light since I fubared my current ones. Looking at all possibilities.

But to determine a choice, I need to know how to retrofit these 2 parts. I know it's a biatch but CAN be done... I don't want to buy a new ballast so don't tell me to do that please.
I cant even sell my AP1 headlights to pay for the upgrade... I can only sell bulbs, ballast, and projector... No lense, so no total package. Honda-tech.com here I come! Thanks for input and I'll close this thread when I find the info I needed. TIA

So I'll get the ballast to mount to the headlight... That looks easy.
But how badly does the old ballast hit the frame when mounted to the AP2 housing? Any experienced people with input? Thanks!
