Just as an FYI, after cleaning the MAP sensor.. seems best to replace it. Tried the various methods (whack, cleaning, etc)

Also, as an FYI/PSA to anyone attempting to clean the MAP - ensure it's completely DRY (most important are the internals) and use an electronic part cleaner or high alcohol content rubbing alcohol.

I used Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner - but it leaves a chalky residue.. no good.
And the throttle body can be cleaned by pushing the throttle open (slowly/gently) but be sure to unplug the surrounding electronics (MAP and DBW Unit)

From what I found, electronic parts cleaner is your best bet then clean the throttle body with carb/throttle body cleaner (with the sensor removed). Let everything dry (30min minimum).

Or if you are looking for a new one, Amazon has them in stock for ~60$ or $75 shipped ASAP.

Honda parts stores are saying it's a national shortage item and is on back order without any expected date

Mine will be arriving tomorrow - had to replace my intake hose too, was practically falling apart. Crank case vent hose port was completely shredded and the cuff around the intake was 50% torn. I'll update once I get it in.

I just want to DRIVE!?

The rubber intake arm responds very well to water and AT205 mixed at a 5:1 ratio. Hit it once every 3 years to keep it pliable and flexible. Same goes for the clutch fork rubber boot. I like to spritz it on when I do a transmission fluid change every year. Works on the hose for the air pump as well. All the other rubber seals you can 'shin etsu'

Thanks for the map tip btw.

Trust me, I know how frustrating it is to have the car there but not being able to drive. You start doing weird things like downloading a virtual version and drive that around, which just makes you jones more for the real thing.

Replaced the MAP and intake hose. Found a loose sensor (TDC2). Back in business - good idle, strong throttle response, whole 9 yards.

I feel like vtec 'kicks in' a bit late (7.2k or so if my eyes don't lie). Anything to adjust or note or is that just oil pressure and temp related?

Also, I had a slight 'tinking' in the right front wheel. I'm thinking wheel bearing - any other suggestions?

Slow, hope you got your MAP corrected

Thanks all
