AP2 Head Rebuild/Valve Replacement - Shops?

have you looked at the cost of getting a brand new head from honda?

We had a few people get a new head installed for less than 2500, so figure the head itself shouldnt be too bad

The few shops I talked to wanted over 3k :/ I doubt that would have been "new", likely remanned.

The shop I went with guaranteed their work, so if this doesn't work out, I guess we'll figure out what that means :P

Just need to find something to clean up the engine block surface

Around 800 for machining existing seats, intake valves, and new exhaust valves along with surface cleanup

Acetone is fine. Leaves no residue. I can't tell you how to clean your block. That's personal.

Looks good. If they listened to you about milling the head, all that's left is to slap it on and see how she runs.
