Default AP2 Head

As the Description says I can get a spare head unit cheap but it is a AP2 head and I have a AP1 Bottom end. I would like to refurbish them together is this possible.

Thank you for any information.

Yes, they are good together. Since you will be running the ap1 rev limits I suggest you upgrade the AP2 springs. The AP1 intake springs are a little stronger and work well for the exhaust as well as the intake. Titanium retainers are nice too.

AP1 & AP2 have different cams. The head will fit, but you should run the AP1 cams if for the higher RPM.

Cam lift and duration are not the same as the older AP1. There is talk of the AP2 exhaust cam being a better choice in an AP1 head. I'm not sure if this change is better or worse for performance, or if it requires a stand alone EMS for tuning to get any sort of gain/advantage from the change out.
Other than that the head it
