AP2 ECU Replacment
I am going to replace my ECU on my 2006 Honda S2000 and was wondering is it is just unplug, remove plug-in the new one and done?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Done as in done working? I believe things like the immobilizer, keys, etc. are specific to the individual ECU. Maybe more stuff. Curious why you're replacing it.

Thank you for all your replies. I noticed that people were selling ECUs with the ignition and it makes sense now. I was considering replacing the ECU because my car is still having issues accelerating.

I believe they did that so they could keep a lot of things the same. Pedal Assembly, hole for cable through the firewall, grommet, etc. Its not just not having to design and build those new parts, its also changing that part of the Assembly process.
So its understandable they still use a cable, that just goes to an APP sensor.
