Ap2 06+ Injector Issue? Input Needed...Billman?
#22
well I checked my compression again last night and it turned out all consistent.
230 across the board.
when I was putting back the spark plugs, I looked inside with a flashlight. In the first cylinder it looks black and I can barely read a letter. The other 2, 3, and 4, I can read the letter "D" (i think) clearly.
I haven't had a chance to do a fuel pressure test yet to see how my pressure is at idle.
Just a question. When fuel is delivered from the gas tank to the fuel rail. Fuel goes from 1, 2, 3, 4? or is it evenly distributed?
First I thought I might have a bad ignitor as it isn't sparking the fuel so I switch ignitor 1 to ignitor 3.
What are the chances that the spark plug is bad? even though I replaced it with a brand new one. Maybe I should find my old spark plug and put them in?
I'll be doing a valve adjustment next week. From what people are saying, a tight valve clearance can cause my MAP reading to be high which in turn make the ECU dump more fuel.
My Short term fuel trim is reading rich and trying to adjust it.
let me know what you guys think. Thank you.
Another thing I am going to try and do is get a compressed can of air and blow into the MAP sensor hole. Maybe its clogged? Seeing the hole is very tiny.
Can a clogged hole in the MAP sensor make the sensor read high?
