AP1: Smoke on cold start

That mentioned, when I checked my oil after the first day I was still right above the H (like 1/2 a millimeter or so)...I guess I'm over filled :/

Anything over the H will cause plenty of burn.

And if you are unlucky, you can oil-hydrolock the engine by over filling as well. Happened to one car at the dragon.

ah, so you mean smoke out of the exhaust. i initially thought OP meant smoke coming out of the hood or something.

Billman, havingit over the H at some points will it cause any damage?

I do notice I burn it off pretty quickly and it stays right where you said it would.

it could.

keep it between the L and the H, those are LIMITS for a reason.

if you are less than one hash mark above the H, i would take my chances and let it burn off.

Checked oil tonight and it's at the last X, so a lot burned off the 2nd day.

Compression test done: 265 265 260 245. I'm a little concerned with cylinder 4, but it's not a show stopper yet.
