Default AP1 seat belt squeak

So it has bugged me since day one of owning my 2001 s2000, when I am driving the seat belt rubs the leather and makes a small squeak. I read some users would use felt tape to fix this, but here is another way, hopefully. So when I was spring cleaning/detailing my interior today I noticed the seat belt holders are just held in with two screws. Never really looked into it before, but later than never. So here is my approach to fixing this irritant squeak, I haven't driven the car since but will update later when I know for sure that it works.

Step one, locate the screws:

Step two, remove the screws be careful these are red locktited in I used a no 1 phillips:

What it looks like after removing;

Step three pack the back of the trim piece with washers, or in my case I only had some m6 (10mm) nuts handy:

Step four install the trim piece back on and repeat on the other side!

As stated above I have not had a chance to test this yet, if it does not work I will try getting some longer bolts and packing more spacers behind them.
