Also, sorry, they are not a Community Organizer or active on the forum. I was mistakenly looking at the info for the person that posted the info about them.

Agreed once again. They seem to do quality work, but failing to acknowledge my inquiry is unacceptable business in my book.

You don't need that, and it's sort of ambiguous using it on coil packs. An occiliscope is what is really needed.

But, either the coil packs work, or they don't.

Simply pull each coil pack out as the car is idling. If the idle becomes poorer, the coil pack is working.

If the idle is so poor though that its hard to tell, rev the engine a little higher to wear it smooths out, and pull each one again.

Tell us how it works out!

No problem. Its just that I went through all this before, I did EVERYTHING you've done including the coil packs. When I got to the valve adjust, it fixed it.

Are you absolutely sure you adjusted the valves properly?

I'm too lazy to look through the thread, but did you ever pull the oil pan to check for shavings?

I'm pretty sure the valves are on point. When I have a chance to adjust them again I will but I'll try the coil packs and clogged cat first. Haven't had a chance to pull the oil pan yet, I was going to do that after I checked the coilpacks and clogged cat.

Ok checked the coil packs yesterday, they were fine. Even though its running much better, the car still seems to be using an assload of fuel. I'm also noticing that after a somewhat extended period of driving, 30-45 minutes, the idle seems to become worse and worse. Feels like the shaking that I'm feeling thru the clutch and gas pedal become a rattle towards the end of those drives. If I get a chance for lunch today I will yank the primary O2 sensor and see if its a bad cat. I read up that it's sometimes hell to get the O2 sensor off so we'll see what I can do. If not that, I'll double check the throttle cable for looseness. Could this shaking possibly be caused by a bad motor mount? Just taking a wild, somewhat-educated guess.
