This thread is neither the time nor place, but it's amazing how little people actually know about suspension geometry, and how much fine-tuning and math went into it from Honda engineers. Same concept applies to changes from tires, spring rates, etc.
Lowering like this will cause changes in handling/behavior, not to mention extra stress to the driveline and the eventual damage/noise/vibrations you'll get with your CV joints.
But again, to each his own.

Lowering in any way will cause changes in behaviour....not just lowering "this" way.
He also has Konis....which will pretty drastically change the way the car rides and handles.
He doesn't sound like he's headed to the track to SMASH records. Maybe OP just wants his car to look a certain way?
Again, it's not smart if he dropped the perch. But otherwise....I'm sure there's nothing too silly about the way his setup works or handles.

Not my car, so I really don't care.
OPs words were "She's sitting low AF" You know what AF means, right?
Again, I really don't give AF but was just upping my post count.

from my experience tracking this car, the benefits of lowering the car with higher rate springs far outweighs the original suspension geometry from Honda on the AP1. as far as i'm concerned, the rear toe arm geometry was not optimal and created quite an unstable experience.
sure, a lot of time and engineering went into the suspension geometry, but that does not automatically mean that it is the best setup, given that they constantly revise the geometry and suspension design in subsequent model years. it also does not mean lowering the car won't improve the handling just because you've altered the original geometry.

He probably crushed the car on the lower perches.
But...neither of us is even his real dad. We can't tell him what to do or even navigate him through the intricacies of life.
There's nothing we can do but click our tongues at him in disapproval. tsk tsk tsk.

Thanks for the heads up. I will check everything asap. Then take the car for alignment.
