did ap1 headlights ever come in gray housing? or did jdm ones?

because my buddy bought a set of ap1 headlights that were "supposedly" real jdm..

brought it back, and i looked at the housing.. it was gray. the corners were clear though..

are there ways to tell if theyre jdm or usdm as well?

Nope, never. The 00-03 JDM, EDM and USDM all are exactly the same. Black cases, with clear lens. The corner lens are amber in the US/Canada and clear in the rest of the world. The 04+ headlights are all the same, JDM, EDM and USDM.

Post a picture o what you have. I would love to see them. Good clear pictures of the fronts as well. I want to see the corner lens clearly.

I have opened, JDM, USDM and EDM, as well as the AP2 headlights. So I have seen them all, up close and personal.

On silverstone I think so...some other colors look kinda rice with the inners painted.

Is that yours? Seems like paint matching does look pretty good in silverstone. Seen it done in yellow and red and looked awful imo.

nah, its not silverstone inside. its a dark matte gray with some pearls in it. its actually pretty neat.
