Default ap1 front crash bar

i'm about to do a ap2 conversion and wanted to know if it would be easier to remove the crash bar and make my cuts or leave it on the car. any suggestions?

I'll be doing this shortly, I'm gonna' cover that car and leave the bar on and trim it there.

Are you guys talking about the front bumper conversion? If so I used a grinder on my bumper support. I taped off the headlight just in case.

i'm tempted to take it off. my friend has volunteered his plasma torch to make the cuts, that is if it's easy to remove the bar i was just scared of using the grinder with the headlights being so close, but i guess that's what everyone does.
