Sounds like the oil control rings are shot. Id still do a leak down test to confirm where the oil is escaping if there are no other obvious signs. But typically if you have vapor coming from the front breather on valve cover ( can remove hose and rev motor to watch) your piston compression rings are toast. You can still have decent compression rings too but the oil control rings can be shot. Make sure the valve guides and seals were done correctly. A leak down will show you this depending on where you hear air escape from.

Alright I hate having to take my car to a shop. I always do my own work. I guess I'll get the leakdown test done. Really hoping I don't have to tear the bottom end apart. :/

The spark plugs had a ton of black and white build up on them. Figured thats from burning all the oil. And I don't have an air compressor that's why I can't do the leak down myself.

Is there anything special about redoing piston rings on the f20 if it comes to that? Is it like any other car or do I have do anything crazy cause of the FRM liner?

Yeah you need compatible frm pistons to go with those rings if your not going to do an iron sleeve which is a common thing to do, at least with boosted guys that want to run forged pistons, and I think there only one company that makes factory replacements (Malory?) You would have to double check on that as im not 100% sure on the company. But anyway, you will need to completely trip the block and have it re honed and assembled. At 140k miles you might as well replace the connecting rods, bearings and have the crank checked and bearing surfaces checked reconditioned if needed. Basically rebuilding this motor starts to get cost prohibitive when you can pick up a lower mile used engine and just drop it in ready to go. You will have to do a little research. I had one bottom end sleeved and built and all said and done from disassemble to assembly and running in the car, its was like 7 grand just for the bottom end. When a used motor can be done for 4k installed. 3k for the engine and a grand to put it in.

Well my enignes all stock besides the intake and exhaust. I was hoping I could just pull and reuse the stock pistons. I'm a broke college student so I'm not trying to go all out on this thing yet lol. Otherwise I'd just spring for a f22 and build that from the ground up. Is it possible to just reuse the stock pistons and whatnot as long as clearances are good and just put in new rings?
