Feel stupid asking this question, but i am having an engine built buy Laskey, i am in the uk, just wanted to ask, as he is building the block from a block he already has, are there any differences to the ap1 and ap2 block apart from the internals i mean the fixing of the head etc, am i able to attach ap1 head if it happen to be an ap2 block, the interals of the head will be changed anyway.

i hope somone can shed some light on this for me cheers

yes you can switch heads without a problem
