Ap1 4th gear pop-out - replace detent springs?

Does it pop out of gear, if you back-off the throttle quickly --- after hard acceleration? I had an Acura that did that. Transmission had to be rebuilt.

no, ours usually will do it when the car is under slight acceleration. But it hasn't done it enough to make us want to tear it apart. Just spend less time in 4th gear!

Mine will pop out if decelerating in 4th gear between 40-55mph but that's it. I'll bite the bullet and try the detent springs I guess.

Check out Hybrid Racing's website. They have the detent springs for sale, and they also have an instructional video on their youtube. It's a total of 7 detent springs, and they also say which locations are for what gears.
