Default Anyone Using Royal Purple

Looking at

Royal Purple 10w-30 Motor Oil
Amsoil MTF
Royal Purple Max-Gear Diff fluid (not sure what weight though)

Just wondering if anyone using RP uses anything else for any of the parts?

IE Race Oil instead of regular oil? or different fluid for diff?

Thanks

I just had the lubricating fluids changed in my S and used RP for the engine and diff oil. The dealership was quite adamant in their recommendation of the Honda MTF, so I decided to use it this time, but will most likely start using RP after that.

Only use Honda Tranny fluid. Read the boards, you will learn the hard way.

FYI, most of RP budget is on sponsorship and advertising, not RD so think about that. Also, they dye their oil purple, Who cares what the color is. I only want stuff in my engine that helps it not makes it aesthetically pleasing. I am surprised they dont add a grape smell as well.

Diff, you can use synthetic. Pick one.

for the tranny I looked everywhere and thought that the Amsoil was a fluid that has been formulated to replace the Honda MTF? I though it was one of the only other fluids that people were using in their trannys?

I will research again later today when I get off work. I have 2 weeks until I service the car, I just wanted to get a jumpstart on getting everything together.

THANKS

20,000 miles with RP 10W-30 in the engine, Synchromax in the trans, and MaxGear in the diff. If I ever have a problem due to lubricant failure, I'll post it.

RP is a group 5 syn oil.
I've searched and never been able to verify this. Could you site a source, please?
