Default Anyone using Royal Purple 10w30?

Just did my first oil change today, 2,927 miles with Royal Purple 10x30.

Im just wondering if anyone else is using this type of oil?

We have a few members in our Chapter that run Royal Purple. Oil and Diff fluid....

for the cost, it's mediocre compared to similarly priced oils. you can get much better oil for the same cost.

I'm sure it's a good oil. On the most part, it's just a novelty. "It's PURPLE"! Put a little food dye into your "run of the mill" Castrol or Mobil 1 and you'll have as good if not better fluid for a fraction of the cost.

i used it once... it started drinking the oil like crazy after 2000 miles, i switch to mobil one smooth and much better...

i have used royal purple on my type r integra but it just doesnt cut it on the s2...

dont buy it... i dont hate the product i still used it on my other cars just not on the s2

btw go to wallmart 5qtz of mobil 1 is only $21

some good opinions im reading.

i used mobil 1 10w30 in my ap1, so i wanted to try this in the ap2.

i may or may not switch back, i have to see how it goes.
