Anyone tired 90-115w gear oils on diff?
I found out that many drag car uses much THICKer oil on their differetial.
These oil(heard that they are more of silicon based oil) can absorb shocks to rear diff by minimizing back leash.
But I heard that they are so thick that it increases gear friction.
Anyone tried this?
JDM oil company called Omega has very high velocity(something like 90-115) gear oil and I was wondering trying out those to protect my rear diff.
Any comments?

What you say is correct. The thicker oil will reduce gear shock. The problem is that a drag race it is 1/4 mile. The thicker silicone based oils can't be used for daily driving. If your car is a drag car go for it....

No one is saying you "can't" use it; just probably wouldn't be a wise move.
The LE 607 diff fluid has more than enough shock absorption and meets OEM specs.
