Anyone running GM Syncromesh FM

After about 2k miles of regular driving with synchromesh, i have to say that i like the honda mtf a little better. The notchiness during engine warmup was shorter with honda mtf and generally a little smother for me overall.
During my first 100 miles with synchromesh, i thought i was in heaven. awesome stuff. I don't know what happened after that, though.
so when it's time to change fluid again, i'll probably go back to honda mtf. it's cheaper, too.

[QUOTE=Dark,Aug 9 2006, 09:45 AM]I understood that; I was questioning why they are using it in the trans.
FM is designed for one thing...increase friction, specifically for LSD's with clutch packs (although strangely enough some manufacturers put them in gear/torsen based LSDs).
