Trim piece found lose in the vehicle after it was transported. Trying to determine from where it came. Thanks for any help.

FYI.....this trim piece has always been loose on my car. Found it on the seat or floor several times. So, I put some very small (1/4") self-adhesive foam insulation inside the edge. Fits tight now.

Make sure the mirror is not loose which can cause that to pop off. If your mirror vibrates noticeably when driving that could be it. I have had my mirror fall off onto the dash during an autox run (at nationals of course)
