anyone have a set of Konis sitting around?
So here's the dealio. See my previous post:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=580826
I'm missing the sleeve supplied by Koni. I know I can re-use the OE sleeve, but I want to keep my downtime down to a minimum, and actually my engine builder / machinist owes me, so I want to have some sleeves made up by him on a lathe. Can't be that difficult, right?
The piece I'm missing is the little metal cylinder in the middle of this photo, taken from the Eibach / Koni DIY thread:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=m...d=si&img=243176
If anyone can give me measurements on this thing, I'd most appreciate it. Outside diameter, inside diameter and length. I take it it goes between the shock shaft and the rubber bushings on the inside of the top mount.
Then, please look at my photo here, and tell me what else I'm missing (if anything). Oh, I guess dust covers. I need to snag the dust covers from the OE set up, right? And it looks like I don't have the white plastic thing in the linked photo. What is that, and can I get away with OE parts for that too?
Thanks in advance!

Man, that's a bummer you didn't get the sleeve.
I wish I had an extra set lying around.
In order to take a measurement, the shock must come off and disassembled.
Hope someone could chime in.
Oh, and for the white plastic, it goes right on top of that shock before the bump stops and everything.
It's hidden inside the dust cover, so I don't think it's necessary.. but I could be wrong.
Good luck with everything.

I decided to be proactive. Koni has a part number for a hardware kit, so I had my engine builder order that in. Unfortunately, the supplier only has one kit (one kit does one axle set), so the other kit is on order. The kit should come with the white plastic thing, I hope.
I was hoping to not completely disassemble the stock shock assemblies, but I guess I'll have to anyway, to get at the dust covers anyway.
Thanks for your help!
