Anyone have problems with broken rockers destroying motors?

What's the alternative?
How does a broken rocker make the rod fail?
I mean, a valve that does not open is not something that will put a load on a rod?
Where did you find the broken rocker parts in the head?
If those parts were in the wrong spot - in the head - the cam and cam caps would have been damaged obstructing the turning cam..?
Maybe even snap the chain.

Where is the piston, is it still there, in one-ish piece?
