Even with all the information on this site, you really should have a Helm's manual if you are going to do it.

My Helm's manual was money very well spent. The best "mod" yet.

I have the Helms on CD-ROM.
I am meeting up with another member from the Mid-Atlantic club this weekend (he has a lot of experience doinf valves) and I am going to watch him do his and we'll do mine together (supervised teaching since I am an admitted "mechanical retard).

Is it an extra $20 to watch? Then another $15 if you help? That's what I was told, I'm not sure.

Update...
I took the car to the dealer and had the tech ride with me. He said this was normal valve noise after the break-in period. I told him that I've owned several hondas, including this one and reconize what a car that needs a valve job sounds like....like mine. Longstory short...they adjusted the valves and now its quiet as a kitten.

As quiet as YOUR kitten? Is it still under the bed?

Glad to hear you're happy. Mine'll probably be next.

Gernby,
you're killing me here. Let me clarify, its not noiseless, but it is much quiter then before, like when I first got it. There isn't this loud clanking coming from the engine.
