Anyone else using Motul 8100 5-30 motor oil?
Today the service rep at Diamond Honda refused my request for Motul 5-30, he referred me to another rep who took my request and had my oil changed using the Motul. I might add that this dealership has changed my oil for the past 3 years with Motul oil. Anybody here ever had problems with this oil? Can't figure why the rep would cop such an attitude. any ideas?

I suspect that he was just following his Honda provided viscosity grade recommendation cheat sheet (10W-30). Or, he was trying to sell you some oil. Regardless, don't get too paranoid about it. The Motul will work fine. If you have any doubts, do a UOA to see how well it holds up in your engine.
