anyone else had their dash crack?
I noticed what looked like a hair lying on my dash, about midway to the windshield and just left of the the bumped up part of the dash over the steering wheel. Turned out to be a crack!
just a hairline slit of a crack, but it was definitely there.
Took it to the dealer, they had some local auto trim company patch it, the first time they patched it, they left the repair area totally smooth, not leather grained like the rest of the dash.
Obviously, I bitched and they redid it, bit it's still not perfect. If you look for it, you can definitely see it.
Just curious if anyone else has had that problem?

As others have suggested, replacement is the way to go.
A patched dashboard may be cosmetically satisfactory (or not ), but the crack is still there under the "makeup". I would expect that the crack will not go away and would most likely get worse over time, especially if the dash is subject to heating and cooling cycles and exposure to UV.
