Default Anyone with a 2000 S2K

Hello everyone,
I am new to this site as well as owning my first s2000. I went to a Honda dealership recently to get some help putting a lamp bulb in when I was informed I would be getting a brand new set of spark plugs, tail lights, and a convertible boot for FREE because honda put a campaign out on them (i guess that means recall?). I thought I would share this information with everyone who has a 2000 s2k because you never know if the person who had the car before you got it done

Well its called goodfaith when a dealer fixes issues with a car that is passed its warranty. I asked before if they would fix the tear in my softtop and they said no same with simple stuff like greasing up the transmission.

The tail lights (fading color) and boot (impacting seatbelts) were required recall items. The plugs (not staying in) were part of a TSB . The dealer service did the job right but Honda funded it.

It is called goodwill when it is not a recall however... No top replacement was a recall. TSB yes.

since you're a new owner and don't know how to put a bulb in, they probably saw you as a sucker who would come back for more service.

to gain some more trust, they looked up some outstanding recalls and tsb's for the car (that they would get paid for by honda), then gave it all to you for free.

dealer doesn't get paid for TSBs. only recalls.
