Default Anybody know where the alternator is grounded?

I've been chasing an electrical gremlin in my car for a while now, I turn the car on, drive it for a minuite and the battery dies, the battery doesnt die unless the car is on. After pulling off the negative terminal on the battery, the car shuts off. I then replace the alternator, same thing. I bring back the new alternator and trade it for a new one. And it's the same thing, do I'm now thinking it's the alternator ground. Any help would be nice. Please and thank you.

The alternator is bolted to block, block is grounded with a ground strap to firewall at the back.

Definitely not alternator ground.

Check the field voltage, it is fuse controlled.
