Anybody have a supercharger and DC headers?

CMiS2K,
From what I remember, there have been 2 dyno days you and I have both attended. I don't remember when you did your exhaust or header, but besides the V-AFC, my only significant mods have been cooling related. The 1st event, you were less than 1 HP below me. The 2nd, you were around 8 HP below me, and a few below a completely bone stock '03 with 1K miles on it. Where did this 22 hp number come from? There was 1 car at each event that had extremely low HP numbers, but you can't use those as a baseline.

as I state once again, the mid range was greater. I took my dyno sheet and laid it across the windshield and lined it up against another stock S2000, and MY MID RANGE peak was 22 hp more than stock, not 222 peak hp. I have dyno'd the car 6 times with AEM CAI, DC sports header and RM racing exhaust.
My most recent dyno 6-20-03, in which the base line of 182 was off from the previuos 6(198-200) was with AEM CAI, dc sports header, JIC and tuned VAFC. once vafc was tuned I was back up to 199.3.
I will go back to the dyno again before the supercharger to get another baseline with the vafc uninstalled and installed. Something was wrong a few weeks ago.

Wasn't your 182 with the JIC's silencer in, and the 199 with it out?
Here is the 6 car comparison I have from the last club dyno day. This is when I had the tuned V-AFC, and you had the RM exhaust and DC header. mxt_77 was bone stock.

look at my mid range, that is the point that I am making. look at the power curve pre-vtec and post vtec. My power band is above MXT_77 all of a sudden peaks out and above at 200.77. Based on this, my car will pull on his.
6-20-03: 11am 88 degrees and 87% humididty, my baseline started at 182, with a tuned the vafc a little and got to 187 took the silencer out, tuned the vafc a little more and got 199 peak at 8450. there was a 20 hp gain from 7-9K and 8-9K 40 hp. Like I said the base line was out of wack, to start with.
I will go back in a few weeks before I install the vortech and get another baseline.
I have raced 3 stock S2000 recently pulling .5 car length to 2 car lengths all races were from a dead stop.

Well got the headers installed and just had a couple questions for people with the headers. Do the headers smoke a little the first time you drive? Also there was an L bracket that attached to the bottom of the stock header and I didnt find a way to attach it to the new header so I just took the bracket off. I was wondering if this is how others have done it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
