Default anybody else with ripped engine mounts?

If you've been reading this forum, you might have noticed my raving review and recommendation of Innovative Engine Mounts for our beloved S2k. (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...#entry14712761))

I just wanted to poll if one or both mounts were ripped. The part attached to the engine is connected via a rubber (fluid filled?) part, bolted down to the subframe. Mine came out in 2 pieces, the rubber part ripped in half; it was totally separated.

I'm just wondering if anybody else has found this problem, and what is the age and condition of their car...

My S2k is a MY00, 106,500km, daily driver, in cold Canadian weather. Been in a few accidents with curbs and a minor accident (hit by another car on the front passenger wheel). These factors might have increased the stresses on the mounts, causing them to rip slowly.

I also have some mods, that made my car idle consistently lower (faster air flow?), less than 1000rpms. This might cause some shuddering, further tearing the mounts...

How about you guys?

BUMP for another set of mounts ripped in half. Changed at 83k miles but I'm sure it happened much sooner. Apparently it is a common problem with our cars but since they're relatively out of sight and the car is still driveable many people don't know about it.

Are you guys that are replacing them using the street or the track hardness? Can anyone using the track one tell me if there is a lot of vibration?

Ripped mine about a year ago. Car had 55k miles on it. I have no clue how long they were gone I noticed it when I had to pull the front subframe cause the camber adjustment bolt froze up. I replaced them with stocks cause Honda had them in stock and I needed to get the car back on the road.

The Innovative mounts come in four different stiffness levels I believe, but I've read that even the mild ones cause more vibration than OEM so I went with the factory mounts. I'll be installing an engine torque damper soon to help the mounts last longer. It'll still cause more vibrations but I can always disconnect it when I get fed up with it.
