any way to louden intake whistle?

I was just thinking--why put a whistle in your intake when you could put a kazoo in your tailpipe?

all this talks of real whistles, kazoos, and all other noise making air objects.. none of it would work would it? haha..

Just make sure the air flows directly over a sharp edge with a cavity behind it and you should get a whistle. Play around with the location of the edge and the space behind it to adjust the frequency. The sharper the edge, the better.

(This topic is crazy. I was a noise control engineer for Boeing for 12 years, and you wouldn't believe how much money we spend to get rid of annoying sounds like this. Then I get into these car forums and find people who want their cars to sound loud and poorly designed....)

sounds like he wants that whistle/chirp from a BOV without going FI... pretty lame IMO.
