Default Any way to get these Brakes to stop squeaking?

Installed some Cobalt GT up front and bedded them in the the instructions said. The stop great.

but the squeak, squeal, whine, moan and cry. Not all the time. Just some times. Sometimes worse than others. One day I drove the whole day without them making a peep.

Today they just made too much noise. It was embarrassing.

Is there any way to get these guys to not squeak? or just not so bad?

Thanks

That's unusual for the GT Sports....or did you install Cobalt GT-R.spec(VR) pads?

I've only heard of such with the GT-R.spec(VR)^XXR GenII pads.

Try applying high temp lubicant back of the pads. Where pad contacts the calipers.
It got rid of my squeals..

Also, did you re-install the factory shims? Between the shims and some brake grease there should be minimal noise assuming you're talking about the GT-Sport pads.

If my brakes DON'T squeal I get worried...how can you tell if they work with out the audible screech? I think it was a brilliant idea to add the taxi cab sound effects.
