Any tips on getting the cam chain off?

Default Any tips on getting the cam chain off?

I have everything apart to remove the head except the cam chain and the sprocket setup. I can't get the sprocket off because the chain keeps getting wedged between the front of the head and the sprocket assembly. Any suggestions on how to get this off?

You need to remove that chain from the other side (rear not front).

1. Remove Pin
2. Remove front washer
3. Push the sprocket down and forward.
4. Slide the chain back towards the smaller sprocket.
5. It off.

Install it in reverse order.

Cool. I realized that I needed to take it off from the back once it was already slid to the front. Its gonna be a bit%^ to get back over the sprocket to the rear.
