any options for rearend replacements?

the stock rear end on the S2000 is 4.1.
but say you get another rear end and perhaps axles with the narrow wheel base to match and mount that up there - if its american made, like say an 8.8 ford rear end - the gears are CHEAP - like $179 cheap, come in lots of different ratios - 4.10, 4.56, etc. so yes, you can modify it to gear up with the S2000. other issues you'll run into are suspension components and of course.. the driveshaft. as you know, we have cv joints, not u-joints for the driveshaft, so its not typical. you'd have to do some fab on this, but it would be worth it because it would hold up to just about any hp rating and clutch setup that this car would push.
