I don't intend to drag race the car in the near future, so I have no idea what the 1/4 mile times are. Regarding tips, well that's a whole other thread It all depends on how much you want to learn yourself/mess with it, how much power you want, and how much money you have....

The EMS was built from the ground up with boost in mind

Thanks for the tips of the water hose, I will take a look at it!

Hi Chris,

Every racer-mechanic who looked at my setup expressed concern about the direct contact between the radiator hose and the BOV.

The solution was cheap ($15) and simple. I removed the hose and sleeved it with a slightly larger hose (large enough to rotate around the existing hose and thus not bind when the existing hose expands under temperature and pressure). Then, I removed the existing clamp on the strut tower wall and routed the entire thing UNDER the BOV.

Given that the BOV is likely to move laterally (with the engine), the direct pressure's eliminated and the rubbing's protected by the extra sleeve, which is made from a stiffer/thicker material.
