you shouldnt have to put anti-seize on the plugs unless you planning on running them for 100,000+ miles, which I wouldnt recommand.

I think 40-60K miles is a good time to check/replace the plugs. If the plugs aren't bad, you might find a tube seal (O-ring) leak to fix.
To bad I didn't read the fine print from NGK before I put the last set of plugs (8) in my Tundra with anti-seize! No harm I guess.
