I put fumoto's on all my cars this last year as well.

On one car the valve lined up nicely so that the valve-lever body is not protruding downward (Element). This valve has not leaked a drop.

On one car it was aimed straight at the road (CR-V) Ironically enough, it was also the one valve that leaked significantly enough to tick me off (out the end, not out the washer). This one has been removed, it's my wife's car and I feel more confident knowing she's just a little bit more impervious to road debris.

And on the S2000? It indexed reasonably well (no nipple) and barely leaks (only enough to make the valve oily, not running onto the oil pan like on the CR-V). It makes oil changes so easy I would probably tolerate it leaking more.
