The first tank of gas in my s lasted 260 miles. That was on 93 octane.
Since then, I have added 16oz of zMax to my tank after every single fill up and I'm *averaging* 29mpg pretty much all city driving.
Granted, since the first tank of gas, I've done a ton of maintenance that will help fuel mileage, but the zMax works very well and lubricates/cleans everything.
I only use it in the oil and gas. It may or may not do anything in the oil, but it's never hurt my engine or any other engine I've ever put it in.
If I had to pay for it, I don't think I would use it. Definitely not 16oz every tank of gas. I believe a 32oz bottle is like $20 or $30... I just keep a box with about 10 32oz bottles and a funnel in the trunk.
Pretty much I get crazy good gas mileage with it and putting it in the oil is just kinda piece of mind. Every tech I work with uses it in their cars too.
