You need to use a specific procedure and a "special" tool (part #07PAZ-0010100).

It's a little tool that you buy from Honda that you need to use to jump a harness to clear the light. Unless you know what you're doing, you shouldn't be trying this. I'm not going to be responsible for you wrecking your car. You need the tool and the Helm manual to know what to do with the tool.
The other alternative is to go someplace that has a scanner, scan the code and use the scanner to reset the light. Pepboys and Autozone used to do it for free but I've been told they don't anymore.

The dealer will not just reset it for you due to liability. If they just reset it for you and you hit a tree head on and one of the bags does not deploy, who are you(or a family member) going to sue. When I had my shop, my insurance company did not want me touching any airbag systems, so off to the dealer it went so I had no liability.

It's described in the Helm manual.

I didn't use the special tool, just a jumper wire. My car did not catch on fire, nor did my airbag explode. YMMV.

Sorry, no. However, if Mike is willing to take responsibility for showing you the "jump wire" method, contact him. I'm not willing to risk you doing injury to yourself or a passenger.

ps. If you friend turned the light on, make him pay to have it turned off.
