Thumbs down Annoying Buzzing

I always felt I had the buzzing clutch problem but since I never drove or was driven in another S, I cannot determine if I have buzzing or not. Not many S

The clutch buzz generally happen upon deceleration between about 4500rpm to 1500rpm. You can confirm this by decelerating briskly in 2nd or 3rd gear. As soon as the buzz begins, push in the clutch. This will disengage it and reduce the transmission of the vibration that causes the buzz. Honda has a TSB for this and has little to do with warranty.
Any buzzing on acceleration is most likely heat shields, loose exhaust parts, loose engine brackets.
Grinding is a whole other situation and if you hear this when not shifting but just accelerating or decelerating, something bad is happening. It's too hard to make any further guesses over the internet.
However, be it known that your description of "buzzing" and "grinding" may be totally different from anyone else's, so this internet diagnosis is quite difficult.

You cannot justify a sound over a forum. I think I eliminated the diff as I tried to replicate the rattle (call it whatever) at a standstill. Put the gear on neutral and pressed the clutch and revved to around 7/8000 rpm and heard the rattle, but not loud. I realised the clutch and the rattle changed tone but roughly on the same volume. I think it's been stated that if the gear oil is a GL-5, then it'll be fine. Any gear whine will be evident as the speed increases and not necessarily based on rpm alone. Take the car up to highway speeds and listen. If you don't hear that sound then chances are the rear diff is not the cause. "Gear oil" generally implies rear diff fluid. Since you don't know what they put into the "transmission", I suppose this might have something to do with it, but you won't know this till you find out exactly what it is. If they put the same "gear oil" into the tranny as they used for the rear diff, you are in trouble.

Oh sorry. I think i messed up gear oil and diff oil.

When I said gear oil i was meaning gearbox oil (transmission). Since I don't know what they stuffed in there. Its not the same as diff oil.
