I installed a HKS exh on an 04. The only difference that I noticed was that the rubber hangers are different. Oval 2 holes on the older years and triangle 3 holes on the 04s. Other than that, there were no other diffs. I've also noticed that some of the exh don't align the same in relation to the bumper. Either it one side hangs lower or sticks out more than the other side.

Thanks for the further comments.

(Bozz, I confess that I'm now feeling really - I sold my HKS Hiper exhaust from my previous 02 after I was told by a few different people in the US that it wouldn't fit the 04 )

Paging Dan for confirmation about the Amuse - is he back on the board again yet?

I was told that it would fit but different hangers would need to be used. But, I'll confirm with Amuse Japan. I am sure by now one of their customers must have tried it.

Much obliged, Dan!

Fingers crossed it's a positive response. Just a question then of persuading my other half that I'm not mad spending $2,000 on an exhaust and having it shipped 6,000 miles across the Atlantic!

I won't tell Jenny, if you don't tell Donna I'm getting one.

Dan how about a buy one & get one at 50% deal then?
eh? ... ok ... I'll get my coat.

Any word from Amuse Japan, Dan?

And how readily available would the different hangers to which you refer be? I ask because I'll most likely just get my local Honda dealer to fit the exhaust - are these different hangers something they will be able to readily get hold of, or will I need to source them elsewhere before taking the car in for fitting?

(Apologies if that seems like a stupid question - I'm a complete n00b when it comes to technical stuff )

Mark we fired an email off to them so I have to wait for an answer. If they don't email back I'll have our translator call them directly. As for the hangers, I don't know about the UK, but we can usually go to a local auto parts store and get longer rubber hangers. Give me a couple of days to get you a definitive answer.

OK, Dan - thanks

(Sorry - didn't mean to seem impatient - just I'm missing the noise of a non-stock exhaust, my efforts to find one that fits the 04 have so far had very limited success and my credit card is burning a hole in my pocket! )

Im sure the hangers should be available over there then too, if they're something you can buy over the counter.
