Amsoil 75W90 Synthetic in the differential

Back from the dead.
I've been running LE 607 and LE 1605 for ten years, 200,000 miles. Car ran great, no complaints.
Recently, about 2,000 miles ago, I switched to Amsoil 75w110. Seemed fine, except now at 75mph the rear vibrates at light partial throttle. I am attributing this to the diff fluid change.
I'm going to flush the amsoil with amsoil 75w110 again and see if cleaning out old residual le 1605 will fix things, but I'm thinking I shouldn't have messed with a good thing

I just drained out the amsoil 75w110 that had been in the car for only 2,000 miles or about a month. I had a lot of metal shaving on the drain plug as well as pieces of metal so big that I've never seen before in any of my previous diff fluid changes in 200,000 miles using LE 607 or 1605. Not happy with the amsoil 75w110 that had only been in my car for 2,000 miles. The vibration chatter at 70mph is still there. I'm going back to LE 1605 as soon as I can get my hands on a bottle. Or I may try the motul single viscosity product if I can find one in stock locally.

The reason I don't think it's the balancing is because it only happens at light partial throttle at 70mph. Beyond or below 70mph it won't happen in any condition. This makes me suspect the diff in a certain speed doesn't like partial throttle.

If I had trouble after switching gear oils with different additive packages, I would flush the diff with a low viscosity turbine oil as Mag-Hytec recommends.

I changed from LE 1605 to Amsoil 75w110 2,000 miles ago. Flushed out the Amsoil and had really bad metal shavings. Filled with another bottle of Amsoil 75w110. Drove about 150 miles in 2 days.
I'm going to autozone to pick up some Delo 85w140 and see what I find on the drain plug after 2 days of driving and see how the Delo drives.
I can't find the LE 1605 in stock locally, which reminds me of why I bought the 2 bottles of Amsoil and had it sitting in the garage.

In case anyone is interested, I flushed out the Amsoil 75w110 last night after only 150 miles or one day of driving. Saw some metal shavings that were bigger than I every had with when using LE 1605. I couldn't find any 1605 locally, and ricks2k.com is selling one quart of LE 1605 for $42?! I don't recall it being this expensive, but now I remember this might be the reason I switched to Amsoil.
So, I went to Autozone and purchased a quart of Valvoline Syn-blend 85w140. The vibration is still there, and the car definitely feels more sluggish.
At this point, I am going to conclude that it is differential damage (backlash, chipped gears, etc.) It got worse/more apparent after switching from LE-1605 (for 10 years, 200,000 miles) to Amsoil 75w110 recently. So I'm thinking the damage is done and just trying to prevent further damage.
I would like to put LE 1605 back in my diff and see if that gets rid of the vibration issue, but at $42 a bottle, I just can't get myself to spend that much on one quart of gear oil to test and see if it improves the vibration.
If anyone paid less for their LE 1605 ($20 range?), I would gladly pay you for that bottle so I can test it out again.

had this same issue with amsoil after using LE for quite some time.. needless to say, I switched back to LE and had no metal shavings according to my mechanic..
try this place.. their in Van Nuys (they also ship)
