Ammonia smell from exhaust fume.....?????

Hello,
I was tuning my VAFC today on a dyno. During all runs A noticeable ammonia like smell was coming from the exhaust fume. IS this normal?????

Do you have a straight pipe? If so, that is completely normal.

Catalytic Converters normally cause this (sort of eggy smell). Common smell in the UK, in the mornings when everyone is just setting off. Nothing to worry about (unless you don't have a catalytic converter fitted). I think it's worse before the converter has got up to its efficient operating temp, you shouldn't notice it after a few miles.
