Default Alternator overcharged car

I bought an aftermarket high output alternator. Under high load, the alternator pumped out too much juice and blew a bunch of fuses. It blew the 100 and 40 under hood, and it is blowing 3 fuses under dash. I have replaced the fuses under hood and any fuses i replace under dash, the automaticaly blow. Any ideas? The car wont start, wont prime the fuel pump and the dash lights wont come on.

I'm no electrical expert but it sounds like you have a short somewhere or an improper ground. At this point, I wouldn't trust that alternator either. How's your battery voltage?
