BTW, I have tried many different oils in my tranny (OEM, Redline MTL, MT-90, GM Synch, GM Synch FM, rat piss), and all of them have worked well for the 1st 1K miles after the change. The difference from one oil to the next tends to show up as the oil ages. If you are having problems with new oil, something is damaged.

The MT-90 has held up great here in triple digit temps and multiple track events over the space of several months. If it's crap right out of the box then I'd look other places than concentrate on fluid. A third gear grind is not a "normal" S2000 tranny symptom.
