Allignment on a Lowered Car
So I have a lifetime alignment service at Firestone for my S, but when I went in this morning, they attempted to get it on the risers and said my car was too low. They can get the front up, but if they pulled forward any more the under-frame (jack points) would bottom out.
Not sure if they went that far & actually bottomed out... but they said it couldn't be done.
Is my only option to raise it temporarily, get the alignment, then lower it back down? Or are there other shops that you guys know of that can work around this problem?
Thanks for your help!!

This is actually the car on heated springs -- It's the nearly the same height now though.

I'd look around for a shop that will do lowered cars, im sure there are some in your area, just depends on the rack they use.
Maybe try a more performance oriented place? Unfortunately, it will be more expensive....but a good alignment is worth it!

What are you lowered on?
If you raise it up then have it aligned, it will be wrong when you lower it back down.

yeah mine is just as low..if not lower and it fits on fine. but it does depend on the rack..just do what nate4365 said. go to a shop that aligns lowered cars.

Don't raise it up to get the alignment.. that will totally defeat everything. You need to find a different shop.. not a generic chain tire shop. My car is that low and the shop I take it to has no problems. Or bring in some 2x4s.
