Default All Motor People, Speak!

Just curious how many of you guys are going the all motor route, but intake, header, and exhaust isn't enough, You have to have I/H/E plus one of the following or more below:

stroker kit
throttle body
camshafts
headgasket
valve spring
injectors
pistons
crankshaft
head work
etc.

Post your dynos too if you got some.

Please don't post to flame or criticizie, this is just to see how many and what kind of all motor S2000s are on the board

Nice dyno AJPwR, something I just noticed and I'm far from being an expert on dyno sheets but how come dynorun 04 rpm/mph=79 and the dynorun 05 rpm/mph=77? does it recording at what speed you power peaks at?

I'm running a 2.0 liter all motor with the following:

Individual Runner Intake
Individual Throttle Bodies (4)
CamMotion Camshaft
1 7/8" Headers (open headers)
12.5:1 CR Wiseco Pistons
Titanium Valves
K-Motion Valve Springs
Ported Heads (Flow figures given in prior forum)
Custom Oil Pan
Bosch 42 lb/hr injectors
SCE copper head gasket

I don't have any dyno figures, but my best ET is 8.39 at 159 mph in a 950 lb. dragster. The best estimate on HP is ~ 320hp @ 11,000 rpm and ~175 lb ft @ 9500 rpm. These numbers are based on various software programs.

I have increase the head flow (with the intake installed) by 11 cfm over the winter. I will be testing in late February and expect to pick up ~ 15 hp or so.

Don't "blast" me if you don't agree with the numbers, they're just estimates.

Greenlight-

Are you running the stock bottom-end other than the pistons? I don't see any mention of any other bottom-end work (rods, crank, etc). Does that mean our bottom-end can more-or-less survive a few runs up to 11K RPMs?

By the way, to make my post relevant, here's my setup:
AEM CAI v1
Toda Spec A v2 cams & Toda valvesprings
Headwork by Marcucci Motorsports
Toda header
Amuse R1000 exhaust
VAFC

My best dyno run was around 215rwhp. That was actually with the stock cams in the car, and I've been struggling to get the new Todas to make the power that I think they should. My baseline (stock) was 201rwhp.

I run a stock crank (except for the balance) and aftermarket rods. I run Honda bearings and an aluminum hub (in place of the stock balancer).

I have a stock oil pump and modified oiling system. I have a crankcase windage system that I developed myself.

Regarding your problem with the Toda Cams, it is VERY VERY critical that the cam timing is correct. I suggest that you get the Toda cam gears and play around with the cam timing (a lot of advance if you have modified heads and no increase in CR).

Hope this helps,

Yeah, I suspect that is my problem. With the head mill, it looks like my timing has been retarded 1-2 degrees. I just hate to spend another $400 for the stupid cam gears, and then who-knows-how-much on dyno time to tune the things. Anybody know how much a dynapack setup costs? With as much $$$ as I've spent on dyno time, I probably could've bought my own dyno by now!

By the way... when you say "a lot of advance", how much do you mean? 2 degrees, 4 degrees, 15 degrees?

More than a new S2000.
